We've had a great response to the No Lobbying Pledge this week. Rootstrikers are currently petitioning almost thirty candidates in ten states to sign the pledge. We're tracking the progress here.
We still need your help to keep this campaign going. Here's what you can do:
- If you haven't added your local candidate to the mix, please do so now.
- Check to see who we're targeting in your state and help build pressure on the candidates we've already identified. We've made it super easy to send a tweet, share on Facebook and your favorite social media channels, and/or embed the petition on your blog.
The only thing that can defeat organized money is organized people. We all need to raise our voices louder if we want to put an end to the revolving door in Washington and put the service back in public service. Keep it up!
