Can a national meeting dedicated to cross-partisan problem solving get the incoming Congress started on the right foot? No Labels will host the Meeting to Make America Work! on January 14 in New York City, and they've extended a special invitation to Rootstrikers to attend the official unveiling of the No Labels Problem-Solvers Bloc and find out.

The Bloc represents Republican and Democratic Members from both the U.S. House and U.S. Senate who are dedicated to working across the aisle. While we remain skeptical of any Congress' ability to get things done while the institution remains so corrupt, we're curious about the commitment these members have made. In just two months, 20 Members of Congress have already signed on, and No Labels expects this Bloc to grow to over 40 Members by the time the group is unveiled.

Rootstrikers know that overcoming partisanship is the key to solving our country's most pressing problems. Over the last year we've challenged you to host Arms Across the Aisle meetings of your own, and to talk about corruption without relying on partisan red herrings. We don't count on elected officials to solve the problem of corruption for us, but this meeting seeks to answer whether or not they're capable of being collaborators. You can read the full agenda for the meeting here.

To register for the Meeting to Make America Work!, please email No Labels’ field director Liani Balasuriya directly at Liani@nolabels.org. No Labels will waive the registration fee for members interested in attending if you register by November 30.
