FIGHTING THE CORRUPTING INFLUENCE MONEY HAS ON POLITICS AND OUR GOVERNMENT

Our Republic is no longer dependent upon the People alone.
There are many problems in America today, and they are all important. However, the corrupting influence of money in our goverment is the FIRST problem we must tackle. If we can get money out of politics, we can regain the attention of our government once more. Until we do, our voices will continue to fall on deaf ears and our efforts will continue to be ignored by the very representatives elected to listen and to help.

Every Wednesday at 7PM at the Friends Center, we discuss:

1. Why money in politics, campaign finance reform, and ending coporate personhood are so important.
2. How we've connected with other groups/organizations involved in this cause.
3. How we are connecting with organizations with specific causes and missions to help them understand how removing the corrupting influence of money will help them acheive their goals.
4. Discuss past & organize future Money Out of Politics strategies & actions.  We were instramental in getting passed a Philadelphia City Council Resolution to get money out of politics, and we are building a Money Out of Politics Voting Bloc!
