Citizens United has practically become a household name since the historic Supreme Court decision in January 2010. But what does this decision really mean for the impact of money on our elections, and how does it affect the way we fight the corruption crippling our government? Rootstrikers has joined the Money Out/Voters In Coalition in LA to pose these questions to some of today's leading scholars and activists at an unprecedented event hosted by UCLA Law School on Saturday November 17, 2012.
Join Lawrence Lessig, Trevor Potter, Garrett Epps, and others in an all day conference titled "A 28th Constitutional Amendment? Legal Issues, Remedies & Strategies to Get Money Out of Politics." The full schedule is available here.
Admission costs $30, includes lunch, and is being collected by California Common Cause.
